During these meetings, we outline our products and services to the client, and gather information from them about specific requirements for the home. The client is able to select one of a variety of city lots available for purchase. We then review different floor plans with the client, answering any questions they may have, in order to help select a home that best suits their needs.
If the client is happy with one of our existing plans, then we will sent it in for a permit. If the client wishes to design their home from scratch, we will arrange for them to meet with an architect/building designer. When the plans are approved by the client, we will prepare an offer to purchase. Whether the client chooses a plan or designs their own, we require a $5000 deposit at this stage of the process.
Construction and Selection
After obtaining the permit, the construction process begins right away. When we reach the lock-up stage, we will assist the client with the selection process, including flooring, cabinets, paint colors, fixtures, and so on. We provide weekly reports to the client, including photos of our progress.
Walk-through Before Possession
After the construction process is finished, we will walk through with you to show you your new home. We will mark all defects and fix all of them before the client takes possession. If any defects remain after the client takes possession, the client may hold back 10% of the total purchase price.
One Month Check Up
After a month of living in their new home, we contact the client and address any questions or concerns they may have.
One Year Check Up
After a year of living in their new home, we contact the client to ensure that they are satisfied, and take care of any warranty problems that may have arisen.
